New Master Facilitators
Congratulations to Melanie Kiley, who ran her first solo WFA as a Master Facilitator in the week of 16th August!
|"Last week I facilitated my first WFA solo in Midrand, JHB. I loved every minute and I have come away rich and enlightened from the experience. I gained such insight and deep learning about the intervention, the WFA process, the delegates and myself. It was fun and challenging, flowing and gruelling, energising and exhausting, light and complex all at the same time. The delegates had vastly different needs and had come to the WFA with their own intentions and objectives. The complexity I experienced lies in the fact that the process is multi-layered and that there is so much going on in the room at one given moment. From managing process; to walking the 9C journey; to connecting to WFA SOI and different organisational contexts; to assessing facilitation skills and delivery; to giving feedback and supporting individual development and group dynamics and managing expectations; to ensuring the potential experience of real transformation at an individual level and then very importantly, the future potential impact of this intervention in organisations. What a journey!" -- Melanie Kiley
We also welcome Renate Landman into the Master Facilitator path, beginning her journey to be accredited as a Master Facilitator of Purposeful Teams! Renate's infectious energy for this intervention can be felt in her note below...
|"I have been privileged to have run Purposeful Teams with a variety of different teams with very different mandates. With each delivery, the Purposeful Teams intervention has provided the perfect structure and context to give the teams exactly what they needed. Teams have shed their resistance and resentment, bonded, committed and derived the clarity of purpose, direction and action that has left them empowered to deliver and - more importantly - with a strong belief in their ability to achieve their mandates.
Thank you to the Worldsview team for offering me the opportunity to play an active role in spreading the light through becoming a master facilitator of Purposeful Teams. I would like to encourage our community of facilitators who have not yet enrolled on a PT WFA to make every effort to get on board with this intervention. You will not be disappointed, I assure you! The feedback and results from Purposeful Teams is utterly inspiring. At the end of day two of the intervention, in the final lekgotla of the day, I have had the honour of witnessing the most moving feedback from every team I've taken through this journey. As a facilitator, if you do this work because you want to make a meaningful difference to people, then Purposeful Teams is for you." -- Renate Landman
